The Ice Hockey World Championship kicks off in less than a month with a game against Germany on May 12.

And now comes good news for head coach Sam Hallam, who is making his first championship in the post.

Vancouver's Elias Pettersson, Detroit forward Lucas Raymond and Buffalo defenseman Rasmus Dahlin have all reportedly accepted the World Cup. Only the insurance issue remains to be resolved. The plan, according to Aftonbladet, is for the trio to join Tre Kronor's gathering in Gothenburg on May 2 and the Czech Hockey Games.

In an interview with SVT Sport, Lucas Raymond has previously opened up for the championship in Tampere, Finland.

"I'm keen to play, then it remains to be seen at the end of the season how everything is. But I have good contact with the management and it's a great honour to play there," he said.
