Felizia Wikner Zienkiewicz took silver with Brynäs before it was time to leave for the ongoing World Championships.

Now it is clear that the forward will move home and join the big-spending Frölunda who has taken the step to the SDHL.

"I've always wanted to represent Frölunda. I grew up in Kungsbacka and Frölunda has always been the team I cheered for. Frölunda has a clear plan on how to develop women's hockey and the association invests heavily in the women. The goal is to win the Swedish Championship as quickly as possible and I feel that I want to be a part of that," the 23-year-old told the club's website.

Wikner Zienkiewicz has previously played in both Modo and HV71. In Jönköping she played together with Frölunda's big star Hanna Olsson.

"Hanna and I have known each other for many years and I have talked to her about what it is like in Frölunda. The fact that it was only positive things played a part, of course. Then I'm in love with home so it will be great to come back to the west coast.

The contract extends over two seasons.
