This week it was announced that David Rumbutis will miss the European Championships. He sustained a foot injury earlier this spring that is not yet good. And with the trials completed, it is still gloomy for Sweden on the men's side.
None of the competitors have advanced from qualifying to this weekend's final session. A positive detail, however, was that Marcus Stenberg's result was enough to secure an individual World Championship place, for the championship that will be decided in October.
The Swedish team, on the other hand, did not manage to surprise, and finished 25th in the qualification and only the top 13 qualify for the World Cup.
The Swedish European Championship hope is now for the women, whose qualifying competitions will be decided on Wednesday.
The European Artistic Gymnastics Championships will be broadcast on SVT 13-16 April.
