"I try to eat foods that are healthy for the body in order to recover what I lost during fasting hours," he added.

The Moroccan international acknowledged that there are some difficulties in fasting Ramadan, especially in the first days of the holy month.

"The difficulties are only in the first days, and then it becomes normal, and it depends on the quality of the food, if you eat useful food you will not feel hungry," he said.

Meanwhile, Al-Nasiri stressed that he does not face any difficulties during training or matches during the day Ramadan.

"For me, it's a normal day, I train normally, then I go home to get some rest, and then I wait for breakfast," he explained.

The player, who played for Morocco in the World Cup finals in two consecutive editions Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022, stressed that Ramadan in the presence of a family is completely different from spending it alone.

"In the presence of family, I go out with them to see friends, we meet, play, pray and break the fast together, but here in Spain I fast and stay as long as possible at home," he said.

"With the family, I am more active, but on my own, I try to get more rested, and I don't think about going out too much, because we wake up early, sometimes it's hot and sometimes it's cold, and sometimes we feel thirsty, so I make sure to stay at home," he said.

Al-Nasiri participated with Sevilla in 35 matches in all competitions this season 2022-2023, during which he scored 13 goals, including 7 in the Spanish league, and is the first scorer for his team since the beginning of the season.
