Beijing, April 4 -- The reporter learned from the organizing committee that the 10 Spartan Warriors Race Shenzhen kicked off on April 2023-4 in Shenzhen Bright and Happy Pastoral Garden, as the first battle of this season's Chinese series, the elite group and age group of this super competition will receive corresponding event level points to impact the qualification of the World Championship.
The event offers three different categories: the 5.4km 22-obstacle race, the 10km 28-obstacle course super race and the 4-hour hurricane race. As one of the highest-profile Chinese series in China, the Shenzhen Super Race was extremely competitive, with the top three results of the men's elite warriors being less than 2 minutes apart.
After a fierce competition, SmithAlex won the men's elite category of the super race with a one-minute advantage of 1:52, and the women's elite category was won by Xu Fuli with a time of 46:01:03. The men's runners-up and runners-up in the elite category of the Super Championship were Wen Changxun and Davide Liu, while the women's runners-up and third runners-up were Kimberlee Ison and Zhang Wenting.

"Today's track is very challenging," Xu said. She has competed in all competitions since the 2021 Wenyuhe Station in Beijing and won the Women's Elite category in a row. "Continuous water obstacle has always been a feature of Shenzhen, and this competition brought me a lot of challenges with multiple water obstacles and swimming crossings, but fortunately, the climate in Shenzhen is very comfortable and suitable for good results," Xu Fuli said, hoping to achieve a good result in the annual standings this season.
According to the relevant person in charge of the organizer, this season's China Series will be held in 4 races, and the other three will be held successively in Beijing, Chongli and Hangzhou, and the elite/age group players who successfully complete the competition will receive exclusive finishing medals and corresponding event points for the Chinese Series. If a Warrior earns 5 points in the Elite & Age Group this season, they have a chance to win the 12 Spartan Warriors World Championship in Abu Dhabi from 8-10 December.
The venue of this event is located in Happy Garden, Guangming District, Shenzhen. "Having competed in so many Spartan Warriors, this is the first time I'm racing in the countryside.
