At the meeting, Beijing introduced the seven districts involved in the Beijing-Zhang Sports Cultural Tourism Belt and the city's 7 key sports event plans, including the 2023 ISU World Figure Skating Grand Prix Finals, the 2023 Beijing International Long-distance Running Festival - Beijing Half Marathon, the 2023 Beijing Marathon, the China Tennis International Open, and the International Equestrian Obstacle World Cup (China League).

In addition, seven national events are also planned to be held in Beijing within the year, namely: the 7-2022 National Short Track Speed Skating Championships (already held), the 2023-2022 National Speed Skating Youth Championship, the National Skating U Series Interschool League, the National Bridge Club Cup Championship, the 2023 National Aviation Model Invitational Competition (Beijing Shiyuan Station), the "Looking for Beautiful China" National Tourism City Orienteering Series (Beijing Shiyuan Station), 2023 National Nautical Model Points Competition (Beijing Shiyuan Station).
In addition, Beijing will also host 12 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei related events and 28 city-level and district-level events.
