Finnish defenseman Ronja Savolainen was one of the organizers of the victory as Finland turned 0-2 into 4-2 in the final period against Sweden.

Sara Grahn, who had played big for two periods and saved all 22 shots, had to surrender four times as Finland turned up the tempo.

The last goal of the game was a solo raid from Ronja Savolainen, where she got past the Swedish defense and came alone against goalkeeper Grahn.

"It's obviously a strange situation to meet her, I like having her behind her back in Luleå. But nice to score some goals on her. We laughed about it afterwards and she said "you bastard". It was fun," Savolainen says.

"We showed no heart"

She describes Finland as "gone" for two periods.

"I think we all understood that it can't be like this. We talked about "what are we doing?". We didn't show any heart out there, thinking we'd make it easy, but Sweden is a good team so you can't just slide around out there. In the third period, we started playing hockey again. And what a fucking third period it was," Savolainen says with a laugh.

Finland now top Group B with a maximum of nine points from three games. They will face Hungary in the last match tomorrow. For Sweden, a fateful match against France awaits on Tuesday. SVT will then broadcast starting at 21.00 on SVT24.

Sweden still has the chance to reach the World Cup quarter-finals, but also risks being eliminated from the A-World Cup if lost and relegated to the B-World Cup.
