In last year's World Cup finale in Leipzig, Germany, Swiss Martin Fuchs won in show jumping with the horses The Sinner and Chaplin. Jens Fredricson of Markan Cosmopolit finished in third place. Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli and Kalinka van de Nachtegaele finished in 14th place.
In dressage, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, Germany, took home the victory at TSF Dalera BB while Patrik Kittel finished in eighth place with Blue Hors Zepter.

"He has jumped several championships together with King Edward, which is a big advantage now. He has a great routine and knows how the horse works. Henrik is a gold candidate.
About Wilma Hellström:
– They are well prepared and do the first championship together, Wilma and her white skimmel Cicci BJN, but it is a tough program with at least four jumps. The fact that Sweden has two jumpers who have collected enough points to qualify for the final is very strong.
