French star Karim Benzema, captain of Real Madrid, led his team to a sweeping victory over Valladolid with six clean sheets, on Sunday, in the 27th round of the Spanish league football.
Rodrygo scored Real Madrid's first goal (22), before Karim Benzema added three goals (3, 29 and 32), the fastest hat-trick in the French star's career and the third fastest hat-trick in Real Madrid's LaLiga history.
In the 72nd minute, Marco Asensio scored the fifth goal for Real, while Lucas Vazquez concluded his team's sixth in the first minute of injury time for the second half.
The "Merengue" raised its tally to 59 points in second place, 12 points behind Barcelona, the leader of the standings.
Valladolid, on the other hand, are stuck on 28 points in 16th place.
