The tribute tour for Lionel Messi and the Argentine national team only continues at home in Argentina.

In their second friendly after the World Cup gold, this time against island nation Curacao, the 35-year-old Argentine and his team were once again met with a standing ovation in front of a packed Estadio Unico in Buenos Aires.

Just over 50,000 spectators then watched Lionel Messi reach his hundredth international goal for Argentina and he was not content there.

Messi sent in another two goals even before the break in a game that Argentina eventually won 7-0.

"We deserve a continued celebration and will never stop. I hope there will be more goals from Messi that deserve all the tributes. It's good that he scored these goals on Argentine soil, it makes it extra valuable," said Argentine head coach Lionel Scaloni.
