When Timrå picked out goalie Jakob Johansson and played six-on-five outfielders, William Wikman got the puck in a free position but his shot toward the empty goal from half the field went outside. The crowd sighed but Örebro was able to hold off.

When it looked as if Örebro had already decided the game, Jakob Stenqvist reduced the score to 3-1 after Timrå snatched the puck. With seven minutes to go, there were nerves for real. Jonathan Dahlén recorded the puck from the right side and Anton Lander was able to bump in 3-2 from close range. With the goals, Timrå took over the game completely.

At the start of the second period, Christopher Mastomäki pushed forward on the right wing and dropped it to Oliver Eklund who free with Jacob Johansson finding a gap for 2-0.

A couple of minutes later, Örebro again came up with a quick conversion on the right side. Linus Öberg, who scored 1-0, recorded the puck and Milton Oscarson ruled in 3-0.
