The events of the recent "Clasico" in the "LaLiga" between rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid cast a shadow over the camp of the Spanish national team as they prepare to cut the ribbon of their matches in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

Although most of the match passed without any skirmishes, Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal and Barcelona substitute goalkeeper Arnau Tenas ended the match before both teams intervened to break up the clash.

Real Madrid's players are also upset by the style of play of young midfielder Gavi, who intervened strongly against Carvajal himself, and also assaulted substitute Dani Ceballos without the ball, according to Spanish reports.

The famous Spanish program "El Chiringuito TV" published a video showing Barcelona players on one side and they are completely far from the side where their counterparts from Real Madrid are, during the camp "La Roja".

Barça stars Gavi and Alejandro Balde were spotted by cameras together, and metres away were Ceballos and Carvajal.

The players trained in separate groups in a tense atmosphere, putting great pressure on new coach Luis de la Fuente to find a solution to this crisis before it escalates.

The British newspaper "The Sun" highlighted information quoted by Spanish journalist Adrian Sanchez, according to which a number of Real Madrid players contacted the top stars in Barcelona, to complain about Gavi specifically.

Real Madrid's players are asking their experienced counterparts at the Catalan club to speak to Gavi in order to put an end to his behaviour on the pitch.

Gavi could be a partner for Ceballos during Spain's first European qualifying match.

El Matador is scheduled to play two Euro 2024 Group A matches, the first against Norway and will be held at La Rosalida Stadium in Malaga on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

He then travels to Glasgow to face Scotland in the second round on Tuesday 28 October.
