Last summer, Malmö FF brought in former Djurgården forward Mohamed Buya Turay. But after ten all-Swedish games with a goal and an assist, the parties are now going their separate ways.

Buya Turay has on a couple of occasions in the past, spoken out about his difficult family situation as his wife and children have not lived with him in Sweden.

" Mohamed has always been open with his feelings and together we have had a good dialogue to try to resolve the situation. When it dragged on, it eventually became untenable for him and he feels that he cannot perform here and needs to go home to his family. It is of course sad when it happens like this, but this is the best solution for everyone involved, says MFF's sporting director Daniel Andersson on the club's website.
