After Ireland's victory in the 2023 Six Nations Tournament, six players were selected to have the title best player of the 2023 edition. Among them, three Irish, but also three French. Antoine Dupont, Damian Penaud and Thomas Ramos can claim this title.

Three Frenchmen, Antoine Dupont, Damian Penaud and Thomas Ramos, have been nominated along with three Irishmen for the title of best player of the 2023 Six Nations Tournament, announced Monday the organizers of the competition, won by Ireland. Winger Damian Penaud, with five tries, finished as the tournament's top scorer, whose France XV took second place after beating Wales 41-28 on Saturday.

Fullback Thomas Ramos finished best director with 84 points, a record for a Frenchman in a single edition. Named best player of the 2022 Tournament, during which the Blues had achieved the Grand Slam, scrum-half and captain Antoine Dupont is again named.

Public Vote

Third row Caelan Doris, full-back Hugo Keenan and winger Mack Hansen are the three Irishmen vying to dethrone him this year after completing the Grand Slam. The name of the best player of the 2023 Tournament will be announced on Friday, along with the typical team, following an online public vote.
