Örebro won the first meeting 4–1. In the second meeting in Medelpad on Sunday, they were put at a disadvantage right away.

Elmeri Eonen scored 1–0 to Timrå. In the second period, Örebro turned, in numerical advantage Filip Berglund put 2–1, but after an equalizer by Timrås Emil Pettersson, also on the power play, the score was 2–2 after the second period.

Settled with "goals": "What was needed"

In the second, Jakob Stenqvist shot in 3–2 to Timrå from the blue line, a puck that went in behind an obscured Jonas Enroth in Örebro's goal. A packed arena in Timrå both believed and hoped for victory, but Örebro found a way to win, as Linus Öberg described it at Cmore's interview microphone.

First, Marcus equalized before Linus Öberg worked a puck into a tangled situation in front of goal, to make it 4–3 for Örebro.

"That's what was needed today, it was a little goal," match-winner Linus Öberg told Cmore.

Timrå got the chance in games six-on-four at the end of the game, but was never close. Örebro leads the quarterfinal series, which is played in best-of-seven matches, by 2–0.
