Florida won the game 9-5 and it was the fifth game in a row that the sunshine team scored points.

"I haven't seen anything like it in 25 years, it was a goal all the time. There were more goals than chances created and it's very rare to get to be part of that. All I can say is that it affected both teams for the rest of the game," Florida coach Paul Maurice told the NHL's website.

Goalkeeper replaced after six minutes

When the 26-year-old Forsling, with a past in Linköping, pushed in a shot alongside Sam Montembeaul, he was replaced in favor of Jake Allen in Montreal's goal. By then, it had been 6.04. When Aaron Ekblad made it 4-3 for Florida after 9:09, the seven goals in such a short time was an NHL record.

There had been eleven shots fired to score the seven goals. Montreal was the most efficient, scoring on the three shots they had fired.

- If you happened to arrive 30 minutes late, you probably regret it. Hopefully no one got caught up in traffic. There are some things to correct but a win is a win," said Matthew Tkachuk, who scored four points (1+3).
