In Germany, Juventus renewed its victory over its host Freiburg, to continue its march in the tournament, which is doubly important for the "Old Lady" team this season, because winning it will give him a card to participate in the Champions League competition regardless of his status in the domestic league, in which he was punished by deducting 15 points from his balance, due to financial manipulation.

Serbian Dušan Vlahovic succeeded in giving Juventus the lead late in the first half from a penalty caused by Manuel Golde, after he touched the ball with his hand in the forbidden area, which led to his expulsion with the second warning in the 45th minute.
