One of the matches in the Bolivian Football League witnessed the referee counting 42 minutes of stoppage time, for reasons partly natural, and the other outside the control of the referee.

Atletico Palmaflor achieved an impressive 3-2 victory over its guest Blooming, in the meeting that took place early in the morning of Sunday, March 14, 2023, in the sixth round of the Bolivian League.

And the French “RMC” network stated that the aforementioned match ended after the referee counted 42 minutes as a substitute for lost time.

The match went normally until the 86th minute, and the result indicated that the local team advanced by two goals without a response.

The first stop came in the 87th minute, after the guest team succeeded in scoring the goal of reducing the match, so the referee resorted to reviewing the game via video technology.

The referee entered into a long discussion with those in the “VAR” room, which lasted for 10 minutes, before the goal was finally counted.

The pitch was also affected by a strong hurricane, as a result of which play was stopped again, and upon completion of the match, the referee counted 30 minutes as stoppage time.

In stoppage time, Blooming equalized in the 90th + 24th minute, so everyone believed that the excitement of the match would end at this point.

But the referee brought the suspense back to the match after showing two red cards to the Blooming team, after which he was forced to add another 12 minutes, after the match was stopped due to the visitors’ objections.

After the resumption of play, Atletico Palmaflor took advantage of the numerical shortage in the ranks of its guest, to snatch the third goal and the winning goal at the 90 + 38 minute.

After the match, Blooming Club harshly criticized the match referee, and expressed his anger at what happened in a tweet on his official account on the social networking site "Twitter".
