Frölunda's newly started women's team recruited big names both among players and managers and entered the season in division 1 south (NDHL) with high ambitions.

The goal was to take the step to SDHL immediately, and now it is close.

In the qualifying series, three teams compete for two SDHL places in double meetings.

Frölunda has two straight victories and can in principle secure a SDHL contract in suit already on Wednesday if AIK beats Skellefteå, as they have such a good goal difference.

"Talked to all the players in Gothenburg"

Sporting director Kim Martin-Hasson tells Göteborgs-Posten that they plan to strengthen the squad considerably in the event of an evacuation.

- I have spoken to all the players who are from Gothenburg in the SDHL, she tells the newspaper.

The team already includes names such as Hanna Olsson, Michelle Karvinen and Andrea Dalen (currently knee injured).

- By and large, I am done with the squad.

There are a few pieces of the puzzle left.

We want six players in for next season.

Whether they are then from Gothenburg, Norrland or Skåne remains to be seen, says Kim Martin-Hasson to Göteborgs-Posten.
