Nearly 1,000 players from more than 80 cities and more than 100 clubs across the country enjoyed the beautiful natural environment while competing in the First Bay of Shenzhou Peninsula.

  It is understood that this event is the first event of the "Green Water and Green Mountains" China Leisure Sports Challenge in 2023, and it is also the second time that Mannings has hosted this event.

Compared with previous years, the competition threshold of this competition is lowered, and the competition is more popular and recreational.

  In terms of project settings, this event has two items: sea paddle board and beach run. The sea paddle board is a 4,000-meter row, and the beach run is a 6,000-meter round-trip run.

According to the age and gender of the participants, they are divided into 13 groups for competition, including 9 groups for the two events and 4 groups for the individual event.

  In terms of route design, the two races are played in the order of paddle boarding first and then beach running.

In the 10-kilometer route, the contestants paddled on the clear sea, ran on the fine sandy beach, and passed by the Shenzhou Peninsula Lighthouse, the National Motorboat Southern Training Base, Binhai Square, Binhai Park and other online celebrity check-in points .

  It is worth noting that the paddle board event of this competition is held on the sea, which is both a challenge and an opportunity for athletes.

The 4,000-meter sea stroke is difficult. At the same time, it is also a rare opportunity for contestants to discuss and train, and test their sea stroke ability in a competitive state.

Likewise, beach running is a new experience for most runners.

  In terms of participating athletes, the contestants in this event include professional athletes from the surfing teams of various provinces, elite players in the national paddle board field, and many paddle board and road running enthusiasts; there are teenagers as young as 9 years old, and Nearly 60 years of senior enthusiasts.

  According to reports, in recent years, Wanning City has continuously improved its sports infrastructure and improved its service guarantee capabilities in a targeted manner. Yuewan and Shimeiwan were successfully selected as the first batch of pilot units for national water (maritime) national leisure sports centers, and were also awarded the "National Top Ten Sports Tourism Destinations" in 2022, the first batch of provincial-level global tourism demonstration areas and sports tourism centers in Hainan Province.
