On Tuesday, the qualifying game between Malmö and Brynäs begins.

The teams settle in the best of seven games and the loser is relegated to the Hockey Allsvenskan.

Then Brynäs chooses to change the leadership side.

Head coach Mikko Manner and his assistant coaches Ari-Pekka Pajuluoma and Kalle Kaskinen are relieved of their duties and Ove Molin comes in together with Anders "Masken" Carlsson and Jörgen Sundqvist.

- On behalf of the association, I want to send a big thank you to Mikko, Ari-Pekka and Kalle.

All three are passionate about hockey and they have put their heart and soul into doing the best for Brynäs.

We wish them all the best in their future assignments, says Brynäs club director Håkan Svedman and continues:

- But the association is in a serious situation and we chose after careful consideration to add new voices close to the players.

In recent years, Ove Molin has worked as a player developer in the association.

- We have a good squad with all the potential to win a qualifying game against Malmö.

The players have a big heart for the club and we are now working to further build on and prepare ourselves for the mental game that a play out entails, where so much is at stake.

We want to see the players enjoy the games, bring out the joy in hockey and win together, says Molin to Brynä's website.
