This weekend it's time for the women's and men's 50 kilometer freestyle in classic Holmenkollen - days after the WC in Planica ended.

30-year-old Anne Kjersti Kalvå took the silver only one second ahead of the bronze medalist Frida Karlsson during the three mile.

Now Kjersti Kalvå confirms that she will miss the World Cup's longest race – Holmenkollen, which starts this weekend.

The reason is that she has felt strange in her body for the past week.

- I have come home, crashed here, been tired and a little sick.

I haven't done much, but tried to take in what has happened, she says to VG.

What do you mean by the crash land?

- We have been on tour for five or six weeks.

We have had people around us all the time.

Then you come home to everyday life, with lots of impressions and experiences you've had with those you've been around.

Then we suddenly sit on each side and don't quite understand what has happened.

It's a kind of anticlimax, she says

For the ladies, it is the first time they ride a five-mile course in the World Cup.
