Four players, Peato Mauvaka, Melvyn Jaminet, Matthis Lebel and Pierre-Louis Barassi, all from Stade Toulousain, were spared during the training session of the XV of France, four days before the match against England.

They had played this weekend with Stade Toulousain.

Hooker Peato Mauvaka, full-back Melvyn Jaminet, winger Matthis Lebel and center Pierre-Louis Barassi were spared during the XV of France training session on Tuesday, a few days before facing England in the Six Nations Tournament.

The four players, all from Stade Toulousain, played and won against Racing 92 (39-35) on Sunday in the Top 14. The Blues must win to keep hope in this Tournament, two weeks after the crucial victory against Scotland.

They were therefore left to rest for Tuesday's session, the first of the week for the Blues gathered in Marcoussis since Sunday evening.

The triple Olympic handball champion Nikola Karabatic (2008, 2012, 2020) was present on the edge of the field before talking with the players of the XV of France in the evening.
