Moa Lundgren was kicked from the recently concluded WC in Slovenian Planica.

Instead, she has continued to compete in the Scandinavian Cup, where she was victorious in Friday's sprint.

The 24-year-old Swede followed up with a seventh place in the freestyle race over 10 kilometers on Saturday and thus secured the overall victory in the cup.

The victory means that she has a personal free place for the start of the World Cup next season and is therefore guaranteed a place even if the national team does not select her.

Lundgren has had a different and difficult season where in October she was mistakenly operated on for appendicitis.
