The cross-country team can break the medal record: "Would be cool"

At the Skiing WC 2015, Charlotte Kalla took home four medals and the rest of the national team took five.

Nine is the current Swedish WC medal record.

The ladies have achieved that during this year's edition in Planica, with three golds, three silvers and three bronzes.

One more medal in the closing three and five miles respectively and a new record has been set.

"The Little Spark"

- That would be cool, absolutely.

We'll have to pick up the extra motivation if it's needed at the end, says Emma Ribom about the possibility of breaking the record, and is supported by teammate Ebba Andersson:

- Maybe it's that little spark that gives you that extra power.

One possible tactic to increase the Swedish medal chances is to cooperate within the Swedish team and help each other.

- Should the situation arise, we can benefit from each other.

We have four strong girls who master classical skiing in a good way.

We will simply have to see what kind of race it will be, says Andersson.
