Series runner-up Brynäs had an unexpectedly tough time against Linköping, which was the penultimate team for the playoffs in the series.

Initially, it was actually the home team Linköping that had the hottest chances, but even in principle open goals they did not manage to manage.

"Wrong player getting the position"

Instead, it was Brynäs who won, after SDHL's points league winner Lara Stalder got free at the end of the second period and scored what for a long time looked to be the only goal of the match.

- It is completely the wrong player who gets the situation, from Linköping's point of view, said SVT Sports expert Nils Ekman after the goal.

Mills got a nasty tackle

In the end it was 2-0, after Hanna Thuvik (assisted by Stalder) in the final minute put the puck in an open goal after Linköping took out the goalkeeper to push for an equaliser.

Despite the victory, there was a certain cloud of worry over the Brynäs sky.

This after center Alena Mills was tackled by LHC's Emilie Kruse Johansen in the first period, when Mills did not have the puck.

Mills, who was off balance, crashed into the sideline and remained on the ice for quite some time and the stretcher was rolled out.

But Mills was able, after Brynäs personnel came out on the ice and helped her, to get up on her own machine.

Kruse Johansson received a match penalty for interference.
