Luleå Hockey became Swedish champions for the fifth time, and for the fourth year in a row.

Luleå defeated Brynäs in the fifth and decisive final with 5-2 in front of a record audience of 7,765 spectators in Gävle.

- The women's hockey league was decided as a national championship in group stage form between 1984 and 1987.

- Current playoff form as SDHL has been played since the 2016/17 season.
