Leksand took a long-awaited three-pointer when Djurgården was defeated 3-1 on Sunday.

The win was their first against Djurgården this season after three straight losses and thanks to the three points they managed to overtake Linköping in the table.

Thus, the talented Brynäs escape in the quarters.

Now Djurgården is waiting instead.

A resistance that is a little more affordable.

- It was a big victory for us.

We managed to reach sixth place, which had been a goal for us, and it was nice to end the regular season with a win, says Leksand's goalkeeper Emma Polusny.

On Wednesday, the quarter-final game begins, which will be decided in the best of three games.

- It will be a good match against them, it has been tight between us throughout the season so I think it will be a good series, says Polusny.

The loss was Djurgården's second in a row.

- Disappointing, I think, we can do much better.

We care too much with the puck and give away two goals, it's not okay, says Josefine Jakobsen to SVT Sport.

But she doesn't feel any major worries about the quarter-final series.

- It's the playoffs now and it's something completely different, but we have to go up another notch or two if we're going to go far in a playoff.

We have to put this behind us and focus on what we have to do in the future, it's small things that will decide in the playoffs so we have to go home and watch some video and we'll see what happens on Wednesday, says Jakobsen.

However, both Djurgården and Leksand have to find themselves as outsiders in the fight for the SM trophy.

- Luleå go in as big favourites, I think they have looked really, really good throughout the season.

Brynäs are the big contenders with Lara Stalder who we know will leave after the season and surely wants to make one last impression.

But there are many teams that could participate and fight for it in the end, I think Djurgården is doing very well, but also Modo and SDE, says SVT's expert Maria Rooth.
