Badou Jack sees the end of his career, but that does not make him a worse boxer and he proved that emphatically in Sunday night's title fight against Congolese WBC champion Ilunga Makabu in Saudi Arabia's Diriyah just outside the capital Riyadh.

Badou Jack, who fought just before Paul and Fury, was escorted to the ring by former world champion Mike Tyson and that seems to have helped.

After a few tentative rounds, Jack took over the match more and more.

First he dropped Makabu with a solid right hook in the fourth round and then he did it again in the eleventh.

In the twelfth and final round, he then finished the job.

After a heavy hitting streak against Makubu, the ring referee stepped in and stopped the match.

A victory which means that Badou Jack becomes historic as the first boxer of all time to become world champion at cruiserweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight.

- It feels fantastic, says Jack to the organizer.
