Kenyan player Michael Olunga scored a brace as Qatar Stars League leaders Al-Duhail beat Saudi Al-Shabab 2-1 and qualified for the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League today, Thursday.

Al-Duhail will meet in the semi-finals with the winner of the Saudi Al-Hilal match, the defending champion, and Foolad Khuzestan, Iran, which will be held later today.

The semi-finals will be held on Sunday, with the winner advancing to face Urawa Red Diamonds Japan in the two-legged final on April 29 and May 6.

Because of the World Cup held in Qatar at the end of last year, the knockout round matches for the western section in Asia were postponed after the end of the eastern side competitions last August.
