Regarding Senbatsu High School Baseball, which will be held at Koshien Stadium in March, Takanoren = Japan High School Baseball Federation decided to allow voice support while wearing a mask.

On the 22nd, Takanoren and others held a temporary steering committee for Senbatsu High School Baseball, which will open on March 18th online, to discuss measures against the new coronavirus infection.

As a result, based on the government's policy, we decided not to limit the number of spectators, but to allow them to wear masks and cheer.

The school's cheering squad is required to wear a mask, and other spectators are required to carry a mask and wear it in their seats when cheering.

On the other hand, we continue to call for refraining from gathering in one place, such as high fives, shoulders, standing on the seat when scoring.

For spectators who do not follow the instructions, measures such as warnings and exits will be taken.

In addition, at the steering committee on the 22nd, before and during the tournament, PCR tests, which had been conducted for team members such as players from participating schools, will not be conducted, and it will be necessary if there are people who are unwell. I also decided to do so.
