Wilma Hellström has made a grand entrance into the World Cup.

Before the last competition of the season, she is in 14th place in the table.

If that result stands, she is ready for the World Cup final in Omaha, USA.

- It would be very cool.

Very, very cool.

And then of course we will go there to participate and compete for a top position there as well.

So that is the goal, says Wilma Hellström to SVT Sport.

Competing at home

The 30-year-old competes at home in Gothenburg on Sunday during the Gothenburg Horse Show.

She has high hopes for the weekend.

- So much fun, really.

We are super tagged.

A good weekend for me is that we qualify for Omaha, that's the first thing on the list.

It would have been great fun to achieve top results in the big classes, she says.

"Then it should be completely clear"

The top 18 in the World Cup will advance to the World Cup Finals in Omaha, USA in April.

There is only a few points between places 10 and 19, but Wilma Hellström believes there are good chances for her to take one of the eighteen places.

- I think it is enough for me to take a couple of points.

Then it should be completely clear as it is the last round.

Wilma Hellström has a fine season behind her.

She is making her first season in the World Cup, but has scored points in all but one event.

- It is clear that it is somehow unreal, when you actually think about who you are competing against.

But in another way, it feels like Cicci, my horse, is so obvious that she is at this level.

So it's very fun that she gets to show what a fine horse she really is, says Hellström.
