By scoring a goal against Real Madrid, Egyptian star Mohamed Salah became the historic scorer for Liverpool in European competitions.

In the first leg of the Champions League final at the “Anfield” stadium, Salah scored the second goal for the Reds in the “Royal” goal, making his score 42 goals and sitting on the throne of Liverpool’s top scorer in Europe.

Salah surpassed Liverpool legend Stephen Gerrard, who has 41 goals in the Champions League.

Salah also topped the list of top scorers in the current season of the Champions League, with eight goals, ahead of Kylian Mbappe, the top scorer of Paris Saint-Germain, with a single goal.
