Brazilian striker PSG Neymar, released on a stretcher on Sunday in Ligue 1 against Lille, suffers from a sprained ankle with "ligament damage", the capital club announced on Tuesday, two weeks before the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
The player is already forfeited for the shock of the 25th day of Ligue 1 in Marseille, Sunday.
"New exams taken today confirm a sprained ankle for Neymar Jr, with ligament damage. A new point will be made early next week," PSG said in a statement.
