Johannes Thingnes Bö could make history by taking four out of four individual golds in the Biathlon World Cup but finished third in the mass start behind the winner Sebastian Samuelsson and the runner-up Martin Ponsiluoma.

- The world's best biathlete, who many consider unbeatable, cannot resist, he has no chance.

On the final lap, he has no chance against Sebastian and Martin.

It is absolutely unbelievable what happens in the final lap, says SVT Sports commentator Ola Bränholm.

"Very satisfied with the championship"

Before the last shot, the way was open for another gold, but he missed his last shot and did not catch up to the Swedes in the final lap.

- I went for gold even though I missed the last shot, but the curtain came down for me and the Swedes went violently in the final lap, says Thingnes Bö to NRK.

The Norwegian won seven medals in the WC, five gold, one silver and one bronze.

- I am very satisfied with the championship, says Thingnes Bö.
