: What is your assessment of your Worlds?

Julia Simon

: "Pretty good. I'm very happy to have two individual medals. I came here for a title, I'm really very satisfied to have managed to win the pursuit title. Pursuit and mass start, these are my reference races, and I am present on the mass start again today (Sunday). It gives me a lot of confidence. These are the first (international) medals that I have won as an individual, it is really a great satisfaction. I'm also placed on the individual (5th). Overall, these are very good Worlds, I'm very happy. I also put my finger on some little things that I need to improve for the future. allows me to see that with my current level, I can already play the medals, but we must continue to raise this level to be able to hope to find even more consistency in the championships."

: How did you experience the expectations generated by your new status?

Julia Simon

: "I think I experienced this with enough detachment. As since the start of winter, there are expectations. When I managed to get the yellow jersey (from the leader of the World Cup in December, editor's note), few people thought that I was able to keep it. Finally, little by little, I show that I have the shoulders to support this pressure and these expectations. Here, the pursuit still really relieved, I said to myself that I had managed to do something rather beautiful, to achieve my goal.

: How do you envisage the end of the season with the race for the big globe?

Julia Simon

: "It's becoming a real goal, it can materialize. There are still good things to look for and I hope it will end well. At the start of the season, I wanted to find consistency Honestly, I didn't think I could find her at such a high level. I didn't have a big slack. My worst place (of the season) is 18th place. Now, we have to continue. These last three weeks (in the World Cup) which are coming up are not going to be easy. There will still be a lot of pressure. There, above all, I have to recover and leave with this aggressiveness that I can have, and the want to build my races well. I'm just going to try to continue to confirm, to do my biathlon. In four days, the Worlds, everyone will have forgotten. There, we are on the euphoria,we will go home, rest, and in three, four days, we will all go back to work."
