With starting number seven, Anna Swenn Larsson had a very good start to her race.

Shortly before the finish, she was only 26 hundredths behind leading sovereign Mikaela Shiffrin.

But then came the miss and the crash.

The 31-year-old climbed the hill, rounded the post and finished over six seconds behind Shiffrin.

- I usually get pissed off, but today I'm sad.

This sport is brutal, says Anna Swenn Larsson who had tears inside her glasses to SVT Sport and adds:

- My coach had told me that you shouldn't give anything away down there.

What do you think of that tactic in retrospect?

- I would never have forgiven myself if I had given half a second away.

It went better for the remaining Swedish women.

Hanna Aronsson Elfman finished with the seventh best time, 1.41 behind Shiffrin and Sara Hector was 17 hundredths slower, finishing eighth.
