Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo returned his team, Al-Nasr, to the fore, with his contribution to its difficult victory over its guest, Al-Taawun, 2-1, today, Friday, in the 17th round of the Saudi Football League.

This is the second victory in a row for Al-Nassr, after defeating its host Al-Wahda by a clean quadruple that bore the signature of Ronaldo, and his 12th victory this season, and thus regained the lead with 40 points with a goal difference against Al-Ittihad Jeddah, which he temporarily snatched - yesterday, Thursday - by defeating its host Al-Ettifaq 3. Zero, and Al-Shabab beat Abha 2-0 last Tuesday at the opening stage.
