Round of 16:

March 11-14.

Quarter-finals:

March 16-29.

Semi-finals:

31 March – 13 April.

Finals:

April 15 – April 29.

Playoff format:

- Teams 1-6 in the table are directly qualified for the quarter-finals.

- Teams 7-10 play round of 16 in the best of three games.

Winning team to the quarter-finals. 

- In the quarter-finals, teams 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5 meet.

Highest ranked team has home court advantage.

- Quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals are played in the best of seven games.

Färjestad won the SM gold after winning the seventh and decisive match away to Luleå with 3-0.

It was the Karlstad club's tenth SM gold.

Historical facts about the playoffs:

- From the 1975/76 season up to and including the 1986/87 season, the play-offs were played between the first four teams in the table.

- From the 1987/88 season, the playoffs were expanded to eight teams.

- From the 2013/14 season, the play-off structure was changed, and teams 1-6 went directly to the play-offs, while teams 7-10 settled for the last two quarter-final places.
