Norway won despite penalty round: "ass series"

Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold incurred a penalty round in on the first stage and shifted first in eighth, 55 seconds behind leading France who burned by World Cup leader Julia Simon.

Marte Olsbu Röiseland then switched over in fifth, 50 seconds behind Italy's Dorotha Wierer.

Sturla Holm Lägreid made a super stretch in the third, sending out Johannes Thingnes Bö i with a 0.7 second lead to France and Quentin Fillon Maillet.

Most people then believed that the gold would stand between these.
