The professional baseball Rakuten camp held in Kin Town, Okinawa Prefecture, has reached the third day of the second cour.

Pitcher Masahiro Tanaka, who has returned to the Japanese baseball world for the third year, has improved his pitching form, and on the 8th he worked on a breaking ball for the first time in the bullpen.

After returning to the Japanese baseball world, pitcher Tanaka won only 13 wins in the two years until last season, and has improved his pitching form this season, saying, "If you don't make a big change, it won't be the same as last year."

In order to start with the correct posture, he is trying to hold the glove slightly lower than before, and to raise the left leg closer to the body while twisting it inward.

On the 8th, we practiced while checking the screen of the measuring instrument that shows the rotation speed and speed of the ball for each ball with a bullpen, and also worked on curve and split breaking balls for the first time in this camp.

From the middle of the game, I asked the team staff to stand at bat, and pursued learning new forms and improving accuracy, such as throwing with a low outside angle control to the left batter, which was an issue in this camp.

Pitcher Tanaka said, "Today was the first time I threw with a lot of effort, so I think that's all I'm happy with. There's still some work to do, but I think it's going pretty well."
