In front of his home crowd in Courchevel, Frenchman Alexis Pinturault won the title of combined world champion.

This is his second title in the discipline since 2019. 

Frenchman Alexis Pinturault won the combined at the Alpine Skiing Worlds in Courchevel on Tuesday, the first men's race of the competition, in the resort where he partly grew up.

Pinturault obtained his sixth planetary individual medal, his second in gold in this discipline after that gleaned in Are (Sweden) in 2019.
