The 47th Alpine Skiing World Championships 2023 kicked off on Monday February 6 in Courchevel and Méribel, Savoie, and will run until February 19.

The French, at home, will be particularly expected.

The best skiers on the planet will be present like the leader of the men's World Cup Marco Odermatt or even Mikaela Shiffrin on the girls' side.

Not very successful during the regular season, the Blues, represented by Alexis Pinturault and Tessa Worley, hope to shine during this fortnight.

A debrief of the results will be broadcast every evening on the

Europe 1 Sport program

(every evening from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.).

In total, thirteen world titles are up for grabs during these World Ski Championships.

This edition will be very popular with the public and will be marked by the return of the public after the last Worlds which took place behind closed doors because of the Covid-19.
