At the professional baseball Hanshin Camp in Okinawa, Yusuke Oyama, the strongest candidate for No. 4, practiced batting while carefully checking the points to catch the ball.

Last season, Oyama led the batting line as the main axis, marking 23 home runs and 87 RBIs, all of which were team tops.

Manager Okada Akifu has nominated Oyama as the most likely candidate for No. 4, and he is expected to perform even better this season.

In last fall's camp, Oyama was advised by Manager Okada to make the most of his characteristic long-hitting power by putting the point of catching the ball in front of him.

On the 5th, in tee batting, I checked the points one by one and transferred them.

Oyama said, "I'm doing it consistently. By putting the point in front of me, I can fly a ball that I hit firmly and fly farther than before."

On top of that, he was enthusiastic, saying, "I want to focus on winning RBIs in order to win the season. I want to do my best so that I can prepare well and enter the game."
