Veteran Yohei Oshima, who is 115 hits away from reaching 2,000 hits in total, is in charge of the pace of adjustment, and is practicing with the second army with the theme of building a body that can continue fighting for a year.

37-year-old Oshima, who is in his 14th year as a professional, marked a batting average of 30%, 1 minute and 4 minutes, which was second in the league last season, and is 115 points away from achieving the feat of 2,000 hits in total.

Oshima had one home run last season, and 34 in total, but 15 of his 50 swings went over the outfield fence.



Oshima said, "After the first course, the adjustment is going well. It's not much different from usual, but I want to make adjustments so that I can make use of the training that I've been off for baseball."



Regarding the achievement of 2,000 hits in total, he said, "I've come close to reaching it in a year. It's one goal, but it's not the end of the season, so I want to cherish fighting through without quitting." He spoke calmly about his goals.
