Edvin Anger had a good position in the final, but in a corner it became crowded with above all the Frenchman Lucas Chanavat.

The skaters were seen pushing each other shoulder to shoulder and Anger lost momentum and finished last in the final.

- I don't know who is at fault.

I try to go out but then Kläbo pushes me back and then I have no chance to go out.

And then Chanavat comes on the inside and then it just goes to hell, says Edvin Anger afterwards.

At the same time, he doesn't seem to blame the other riders.

- It's a sprint.

I had done the same thing as him.

Maybe it didn't turn out so well for either of us.

It's damn boring.

Norwegian star Johannes Hösflot Kläbo cruised to victory with ease, ahead of compatriot Håvard Solås Taugböl and Italian Federico Pellegrino.

Anger has previously had two fifth places and a fourth place in VC sprints this winter.

And are hungry for more:

- I know it's good to be in the final of a world cup with the best riders in the world, but it sucks so damn hard.

I've been here a few times and I want to get on the podium now.

It will be a good time to take it at the WC.
