On the 3rd of the professional baseball Nippon Ham Okinawa camp, Kota Yazawa, a rookie ranked first in the draft and noted for his dual wielding of pitching and hitting, entered the bullpen for the first time at the camp and practiced pitching.

It was the third day of the Nippon Ham 1st Army camp in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, and Yazawa, who joined the team in first place in the draft from Nippon Sport Science University, participated in the pitcher's menu for the first time.

Yazawa is known for his fastball of 152km/h and batting that makes use of his high physical ability.

On the third day, Yazawa participated in pitcher practice for the first time and entered the bullpen after practicing catch and defense.

In the bullpen, he threw 38 balls centering on four types of curve balls, sliders, two seams, and changeups, and started his professional two-sword style.

Yazawa said, “It was my first time practicing with other pitchers, so I was able to have a good practice with a new sense of tension. I want to go," he said.
