The competitions of the seventh season of the Peace Championship for bicycles, which are being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, continue, and the date will be tomorrow (Saturday) with the second race for Emirati amateurs, while next Sunday the elite race for women will be held.

The distance allocated for the course of the two races is 137 km, in the heart of the Marmoom Nature Reserve in the Salam area.

The organizing committee has allocated financial prizes for the second race for Emirati amateurs amounting to one million dirhams, where the champion gets 200 thousand dirhams, the second place gets 150 thousand, the third gets 100 thousand, the fourth gets 80 thousand, the fifth gets 70 thousand, and the sixth to tenth places get 30. One thousand dirhams for each of them, and the owners of centers from 11 to 20 on the amount of 25 thousand dirhams each.

The Organizing Committee completed all arrangements for the two races, beginning with the second race for Emirati amateurs, in which the top 20 owners who won the first Emirati amateur race that was held last December, and the 61 qualifiers from the Dubai Islands Open Race, which was held this month, will participate.

The "Women's Elite" competes for 735 thousand dirhams, which is the sum of the prizes for the race, which has the participation of contestants from 36 nationalities. Holders of positions from sixth to tenth receive 25 thousand dirhams for each contestant, and those holding positions from 11 to 20 receive 20 thousand dirhams for each contestant.

It is noteworthy that the end of the current season will be held with the desert race for Emiratis and residents on the 11th of this month.
