Champion Moza Al Dhaheri won a bronze medal in the Arab Taekwondo Championship, which is currently being held at the Zayed Sports Complex, under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and organized by the Taekwondo Federation, with the participation of 722 male and female players.

The President of the Taekwondo Federation and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zewedi, the President of the Arab Taekwondo Federation, Idris Al-Hilali, and a number of sports leaders, were crowned with colored medals.

At the level of clubs participating in the tournament, UAE clubs won 13 colored medals, including three gold medals, four silver medals and six bronze medals, Morocco won 16 medals and Jordan eight medals.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Taekwondo Federation, Abdullah Al-Samahi, expressed his happiness at the technical level presented by the national team's players, stressing that it reflects the development witnessed by the UAE Taekwondo, praising the performance of the player Moza Al-Dhaheri and her winning the bronze medal.

Al-Samahi told Emirates Today: "Most of the national team players were able to achieve winning results during the matches, but the draw put them in strong confrontations in light of the participation of distinguished Arab heroes."

He praised the bronze medal achieved by Moza Al Dhaheri, describing it as a distinguished achievement for the UAE Taekwondo players in their first appearance.

The junior and youth competitions for both sexes will start at 9 am today, with 14 male and female players representing the UAE national team.
