Almost two weeks before the Champions League round of 16 against FC Bayern, the French champions Paris Saint-Germain are worried about their superstar Kylian Mbappé.
The World Cup top scorer injured his thigh and knee in the game at HSC Montpellier on Wednesday and had to be substituted early on.
An exact diagnosis of the severity of the injury is still pending.
Coach Christophe Galtier does not expect a long break.
"No reason to worry.
It's a bruise or a hematoma.
We don't know for sure yet.
In one of the duels, Kylian received a hit behind the knee and on the muscle," he said after PSG's 3-1 win.
Limped into the cabin
Just like with the Spaniard Sergio Ramos, you don't want to take any risks with the number of games, the PSG coach explained.
Former world champion Ramos had also left the field early due to adductor problems.
